About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial transactions and maintaining a well-organised ledger system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume invoices by matching purchase orders to jobs.
  • Reconcile the purchase ledger for month-end.
  • Prepare scheduled payment runs and weekly early payment runs.
  • Generate supplier discount reports and update ledger credits.
  • Enter expenses and credit card transactions into Sage.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or finance department.
  • A foundational understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency with Sage software or similar.

Salary and Benefits:

This role comes with a competitive salary of £29,000 per annum, along with remote working options available and opportunities for career growth within CV-Library's Finance team.
