About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special school in Sheffield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education.
  • Develop and implement behavioral management strategies to support students with challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of students.
  • Knowledge of behavioral management strategies and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
