About the Role
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Diabetes Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical advice and support to patients with diabetes in secondary care areas.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessment and management strategies for patients with diabetes, including lifestyle choices, medication, and blood glucose monitoring.
- Actively engage in structured education programs for people with diabetes and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures within your sphere of responsibility.
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless service for patients.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with a BSc in adult nursing.
- Post-registration clinical experience in diabetes care.
- Experience in teaching others in the clinical role.
