Job Overview

We are one of the largest GP practices in Wales, serving over 25,000 patients across three sites. Our team consists of 7 partners, 8 salaried GPs, 5 nurses, 4 HCAs, and a clinical pharmacist.

Job Description

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our busy modern GP Practice. The post holder will be part of a team providing clinical support in various areas, including diabetes, respiratory, women's health, and family planning, among others.

The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. They will undertake a range of duties, including chronic disease management, wound management, immunisations, women's health, and adherence to Infection Control procedures.

The ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification experience as a Registered Nurse and evidence of Continuing Professional Development. They should be competent in performing venepuncture and have experience in chronic disease management and immunisations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to patients in various areas, including diabetes, respiratory, women's health, and family planning
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Undertake a range of duties, including chronic disease management, wound management, immunisations, and women's health
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with significant post-qualification experience
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • Competent in performing venepuncture
  • Experience in chronic disease management and immunisations
