Clinical Support Nurse

Job Summary
The successful candidate will join our team of healthcare professionals at a large, busy GP Practice in Wales, serving over 25,000 patients across three sites. As a Practice Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team providing clinical support in various areas, including diabetes, respiratory, women's health, and family planning.
Main Responsibilities
The post-holder will undertake a range of duties and responsibilities, including:
- Chronic disease management, including diabetes, respiratory, and women's health
- Wound management and care
- Immunisation and vaccination programs
- Women's health and family planning services
- Adherence to infection control procedures
- Taking and recording observations, such as blood pressure monitoring
- Venepuncture and phlebotomy

We offer a range of services, including first contact physiotherapy and GP Support officers who deal with housing, benefits, social services queries, and social prescribing.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant post-qualification experience as a Registered Nurse
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with staff at all levels
- Experience in chronic disease management, immunisation, and venepuncture
- Ability to perform ECGs and other clinical procedures
