Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation and Service: Plan, prepare, and cook food following our Centralised menu plan for breakfasts, lunches, buffets, and promotions.
  2. Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of quality food presentation and service, ensuring that all meals meet our high standards.
  3. Inventory Management: Order and manage food inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients to meet our menu requirements.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our food service meets all relevant health and safety regulations, including the Government's Nutritional/Food-based Standards.
  5. Reporting and Administration: Compile and submit all statistical documentation required by our central administration office, including trading sheets, payroll adjustment sheets, and periodic stock control sheets.
  6. Dining Area Preparation: Prepare or delegate preparation of the dining area for all types of catering requirements, including function catering.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 Award in Hospitality and Catering Principles and Level 2 Food Safety.
  2. DBS Check: This post will require a DBS check, as we have a responsibility for and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
