Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Veolia. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the Veolia site management team to ensure site personnel, contractors, and visitors are safe.
- Ensure that plant and equipment breakdowns are attended to in a timely manner and that downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Report any unsafe or defective plant, tools, equipment, PPE, practices, methods, or other hazards.
- Use and operate workshop facilities and equipment safely and in accordance with Company and statutory requirements.
- Assist in the upkeep and record keeping of spares and accessories, both in paper and electronic form.
- Participate in confined space operations as required and be prepared to undertake training where required.
- Educated to NVQ level 3 or greater in Electrical Engineering, with 18th edition wiring regulations.
- City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 / ECS or JIB card holder.
- Must be able to attain a Ministry of Defence security clearance up to 'Developed Vetting Standard'.
- Previous experience of testing and inspection.
- Full driving licence and a background in operating within a large geographical area.
- Previous experience of PAT testing an advantage.
- Basic IT Skills required.
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
