Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to lead our medicines management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting evidence-based prescribing and use of medicines within our trust, in line with national standards and guidelines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medicines management policies and procedures
  • Lead on the coordination and monitoring of medicines management across the trust
  • Work with colleagues and stakeholders to identify and address medicines-related issues
  • Support the development of quality standards and guidelines for medicines management
  • Represent the trust on medicines management issues at local and national meetings
Requirements
  • Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Experience of leading a medicines management team
  • Strong knowledge of medicines management policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
