Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiography Manager to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of our angiography and fluoroscopy services, ensuring that we provide the best possible care for our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the interventional radiography services as integrated, coordinated services within the directorate.
  • Develop strategic plans to ensure services within the section are tailored to meet the demand.
  • Be responsible for the operational management and provision of professional leadership for the interventional radiography services and workforce.
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective service delivery to planned objectives, using resources effectively and efficiently to improve quality and productivity.

Requirements
  • DCR or BSc Hons in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Post-graduate certificate/master's in clinical specialty or equivalent knowledge and experience in interventional imaging.
  • HCPC registration DCR or BSc.
  • Evidence of continuing CPD relevant to this post.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Project Management experience.
  • Teaching, coaching or mentoring qualification.
  • Chartered Management Institute (CMI) management and leadership qualification.
  • Master's or equivalent in leadership or management in healthcare: NHS Leadership Academy or Institute of Leadership and Manager (ILM) qualifications; Master of Business Administration (MBA).

  • Takes responsibility for operational management and provide overall professional leadership for the service and workforce.
