Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our IFO team in Northern Ireland, a role which will have UK travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring detailed and accurate cost reporting.
- Review and administer main contracts and subcontracts, including procurement of subcontract packages.
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to ensure commercial protection of the business.
- Manage and analyze project costs, including forecasting and cash flow management.
- Collaborate with the Employers team to progress commercial aspects of the project.
- Manage staff resources to ensure effective project cost management.
- Carry out delay analysis and prepare narratives to support claim submissions.
- Handle subcontract issues and ensure variation/compensation event mechanisms are correctly followed.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar position with a main contractor.
- Excellent commercial acumen and cost control skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Full driving license.
