We are a well-established and highly regarded Tier One contractor with a rich history of delivering lasting impact for clients. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is unwavering, and we seek a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Civil Engineering Division.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering commercially sound Civil Engineering Schemes, with expertise in cost control and recovery of value on projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing project budgets, reviewing main contract and subcontract terms, and administering NEC contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing project budgets and allocating cost codes for accurate cost reporting
- Reviewing main contract and subcontract terms, including stepping down conditions
- Procuring subcontract packages and compiling tender documentation
- Reporting on costs to date and forecasting cost to completion
- Administering main contracts and subcontracts, including contractual correspondence
- Liaising with the Employer's team for commercial project progression
- Managing staff resources to ensure effective cost management
- Carrying out delay analysis and preparing narratives for claim submissions
- Handling subcontract issues and ensuring commercial protection
- Forecasting cash flow and budget compilation
- Liaising with procurement to set and agree allowances
- Representing the company in commercial meetings
