Job Title: Financial Professional for Project Management

Chandler and Neal seeks a skilled Financial Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing month-end and other financial activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting financial decision-making processes. The role requires strong accounting knowledge and a good understanding of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing project budgets, forecasting costs, and analyzing variances between actual and budgeted costs.
  • Cost Control: Work closely with project managers to track costs and ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, manage payment schedules, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all tax regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and other relevant filings.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flow, manage the reconciliation of accounts, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
  • Payroll: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages and statutory deductions.
  • Audit and Compliance: Assist with both internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to company policies and government regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis on various business projects, capital expenditure, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, project managers, and other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, cost management, and budgeting.
