Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment and monitor teams to guarantee adherence to correct processes.
  • Track equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks, scheduling additional servicing when necessary.
  • Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and serve as the first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
  • Solve equipment issues to minimize downtime for operations, enabling them to process packages efficiently.
  • Collaborate in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the EU network.
A Day in the Life:

In every shift, you'll lead a team to ensure everyone has the necessary equipment and that it's running properly.

This involves monitoring processes to guarantee adherence to regulations and policies, as well as ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out to increase equipment uptime.

With every observation, you'll suggest improvements to make our systems more efficient and productive, then implement those improvements across the EU-wide function.

You'll also monitor processes using tools like Scada to guarantee performance, working closely with your line manager to assist with administrative tasks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Apprentice-trained with HNC, HND, NVQ level 3.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience working in a multi-contractor and multi-site environment.
  • Understanding of PLC-based control systems and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  • A degree in a technical discipline, operations, or business administration.
