Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Advisory Committee on Disinformation and Misinformation as a Non-Executive Director.

The successful candidate will have expertise in promoting media literacy knowledge skills and behaviours.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.

About the Role

As a Non-Executive Director, you will play a key role in advising us on how to ensure that our work is grounded in evidence, takes into consideration the interests of UK online users, and considers the impacts of our work on regulated services.

You will be expected to contribute your experience and expertise to ensure that our work is effective in addressing disinformation and misinformation.

  1. Main Responsibilities:
  2. Develop and implement strategies for promoting media literacy knowledge skills and behaviours.

  3. Provide expert advice and guidance to the committee and other stakeholders.

  4. Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines for dealing with disinformation and misinformation.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in promoting media literacy knowledge skills and behaviours.

  • Demonstrable expertise in developing and implementing strategies for promoting media literacy.
