About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OCTO Sales Technician to join our team at Ansell Lighting. As a key member of our sales and technical support team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, technical support, and sales expertise to our clients across the UK and ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage OCTO projects, ensuring accurate records and timely completion.
  • Identify and approach new potential clients in the specification and building industries.
  • Attend trade shows and demo days to attract sales interest and promote OCTO.
  • Grow sales numbers by seeding the concept of OCTO with influencers in the sales chain.
Technical Expertise
  • Provide technical support and answer OCTO-related queries.
  • Assist with the commissioning of projects remotely and on-site.
  • Bridge customer problems to the right solutions and assist with project delivery.
Quality and Safety
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Support the Operations Manager in adhering to Health and Safety Regulations.
People Management
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate professionally and positively with external parties.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in selling technical products or technical support roles.
  • Wireless/Bluetooth mesh infrastructure experience/commissioning (desirable).
  • Understanding of building construction and lighting infrastructure.
  • Clean and full car driver's license, valid passport, and right to reside.
