Overview of the Job

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled Civil Design Coordinator who can lead the design elements of the CP7 framework in Bristol. This role offers a chance to work on a long-term basis on a high-profile project and contribute to its success.

  • Project Oversight: Oversee the design aspects of the CP7 framework, ensuring that design work meets client requirements, project timelines, and quality standards.
  • Communication & Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination between design teams, project management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Design Quality Assurance: Verify that all design processes adhere to regulatory standards, specifically within the rail and civil engineering sectors.
  • Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify, evaluate, and manage design risks proactively to resolve any design-related issues efficiently.
  • Document Control & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all design activities, provide regular project updates, and document changes effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Industry Expertise: Demonstrate extensive experience in design management within the rail or civil engineering sectors, preferably with a solid understanding of Network Rail standards.
  2. Technical Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of design software and processes relevant to rail and civil engineering projects.
  3. Problem-Solving Abilities: Be proactive in resolving design challenges and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Daily Salary: £450 - £500 per day.
