Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

Headway Adolescent Resources is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team in a children's residential home. As a key member of our team, you will work with young people with challenging behavior, providing a high standard of childcare and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and support to young people with challenging behavior
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a safe and nurturing environment
  • Develop and maintain clear, accurate records of young people's progress and well-being
  • Engage and motivate young people through various activities and programs
  • Support young people in achieving their goals and aspirations
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young people with challenging behavior (preferably in a residential setting)
  • Qualified to QCF level in Children and Young People, or willing to work towards the qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer experience to an intermediate level
  • Full manual driving license
