Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Headway Adolescent Resources. As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for young people with challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with young people with challenging behavior, providing individualized support and care.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive living environment, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young people, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Qualified to QCF level in Children and Young People, or willing to work towards the qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Computer experience to an intermediate level.
