About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant at Eidyn Care in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients, providing essential support and care in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Administer medication and support health management
  • Help with mobility and ensure a safe environment
  • Promote independence and dignity at all times

  • Competitive weekly pay: £12 per hour and up to £14 per hour for weekend shifts and dependent on experience

Requirements
  • A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to high standards of care
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential - we provide full training
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential
