Classroom Educator Position for EYFS

Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Classroom Educator to join our team as an EYFS Supply Teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) lessons to primary school students, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Create lesson plans and educational materials that align with the EYFS curriculum, ensuring seamless implementation and assessment.
- Assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their development.
- Manage classroom behaviour, maintaining a safe and positive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to address individual student needs, driving collaborative teaching practices and fostering a cohesive learning community.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences to stay updated on best practices and engage with parents.
- Complete administrative tasks, including record keeping and report writing, to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
- Support the school's policies and procedures, upholding safeguarding and health and safety regulations while promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) qualification are highly desirable.
- Prior experience in teaching, specifically in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), is highly beneficial, with a minimum of a PGCE required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum, teaching methodologies, and assessment frameworks.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, leveraging creativity and innovative approaches.
- Strong classroom management skills, with a focus on creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Effective organisational and time management skills, prioritising tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
- Proficiency in assessing student progress and providing feedback, supporting data-driven decision making.
Estimated Salary Range:
£30,000 - £48,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
Location:
The role is based in a 3 form entry primary school located in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary part-time position, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues, adhere to school policies, and uphold high standards of professionalism.
