Classroom Professional

At Step Teachers, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Professional to join our team of education experts. As a Classroom Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of education and maintaining a positive learning environment for students in the absence of their regular teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans effectively to facilitate student learning.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures.
- Providing constructive feedback to regular teaching staff on students' progress.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Classroom Professional or a Classroom Teacher.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups.
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo checks.
- Experience in Key Stages 1 and 2 would be favorable.

Step Teachers are an agency listed as an approved supplier on the Crown Commercial Service and are proud to be REC audited. This ensures we are carrying out comprehensive checks in line with the REC Code of Professional Practice and are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Upon registration, candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
