Security Officer - Belfast International Airport

Optime Group is seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Belfast International Airport. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of airport visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough searches of individuals and baggage to prevent prohibited items from entering secure areas.
  • Patrol airside and landside locations, including access control points and passenger screening areas.
  • Respond to and investigate incidents, completing accurate and concise documentation as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to airport visitors and staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential security risks.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and adhere to strict security protocols.
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Proof of National Insurance and current address.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a basic criminal record check.
