Security Officer - Aviation

Optime Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Belfast International Airport. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of airport visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough searches of individuals and baggage to prevent prohibited items from entering secure areas.
  • Patrol airport facilities, including airside and landside locations, to detect and respond to potential security threats.
  • Investigate incidents and complete detailed reports to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to emergency situations with professionalism and poise.
Requirements:
  • A strong commitment to customer service and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify potential security risks.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and adhere to strict security protocols.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.
