Supply Planner Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional looking to take your supply planning career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner to join our team at Tate, a market leader in the industry.

About the Role:

As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing all supply chain activities, ensuring the smooth operation of supply activities, from planning and stock management to coordinating promotional events and distribution. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement efficient supply plans to ensure optimal stock levels across the network.
  2. Ensure accurate item allocation loading to support company sales targets and maintain supply assurance.
  3. Manage optimum stock levels, tracking all clean-up and item activity.
  4. Conduct root cause analysis, manage escalations, and resolve issues with the engagement of all stakeholders.
  5. Plan, manage, and execute key promotional events, including product launches and peak periods, coordinating all key stakeholders.
  6. Schedule and lead regular review meetings with internal teams and external partners.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing.
  8. Collaborate closely with Operations to schedule inbound deliveries and manage distribution activities efficiently and within budget.
  9. Align with internal teams to adapt to forecast changes and ensure consistent communication.
  10. Identify opportunities to optimise end-to-end management of item categories.
Requirements:
  1. A positive, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  2. Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  3. Proven experience managing an end-to-end operational supply chain.
  4. Experience in FMCG, Retail, or Food industries.
  5. Process-driven with a track record of managing change and driving continuous improvement.
  6. Analytical thinker with the ability to identify issues and lead effective resolutions.
