About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Gynaecology Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our Clinical Nurse Specialist team at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide a comprehensive specialist nursing service to patients with gynaecology tumours, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and clinical leadership in the care of patients with gynaecological cancers, acting as a resource and consultant to support patients, carers, and staff.
  • Contribute to the formulation of policies and procedures to ensure a synchronised specialist service across both sites.
  • Lead and participate in the development of assessment tools to ensure appropriate nursing intervention for patients with complex needs.
Requirements
  • Registration as a nurse with a recognised teaching qualification and evidence of on-going professional development.
  • Experience in oncology or speciality nursing, with a strong understanding of clinical trials management and audit.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment and provide informal and formal teaching to staff.
