About the Role

Ashgate Hospicecare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Improvement Facilitator to join our Quality Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the engagement, development, and implementation of quality improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Quality Improvement Lead in recording and monitoring all quality improvement projects
  • Assist the Quality Team in ensuring the successful completion and smooth delivery of quality improvement initiatives across various areas
  • Produce high-quality work under pressure, manage deadlines, and independently organize your workload
  • Provide administrative and technical support to compile all quality improvements within the Hospice
  • Assist in organizing awareness weeks related to the Quality Team's focus areas
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Understanding of quality improvement methodologies
  • Education to A-Level
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles and tools of quality improvement
  • A willingness to undertake a quality improvement qualification
  • Experience of working within a healthcare environment
Desirable Criteria

We would also like to hear from candidates with:

  • Experience of change management
  • Experience of patient and public involvement
  • Knowledge of clinical audit
  • Computer literacy in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Analytical skills
  • Report writing skills
  • Minute taking skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade others
