About the Role

The Quality Improvement Facilitator will be an integral member of the Quality team at Ashgate Hospicecare, responsible for supporting the engagement, development, and implementation of quality improvement initiatives across the organisation. The post holder will work closely with the Quality Improvement Lead to record and monitor all Quality Improvement (QI) projects, assisting the wider team in ensuring the successful completion and smooth delivery of these initiatives across various areas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Improvement Lead in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Record and monitor all Quality Improvement (QI) projects
  • Assist the wider team in ensuring the successful completion and smooth delivery of QI projects
  • Provide administrative and technical support to collate all quality improvements undertaken within the Hospice
  • Support the organisation of awareness weeks relevant to the Quality team

Person Specification

  • Understanding of quality improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles and tools of quality improvement
  • Experience of working within a healthcare environment
  • Computer literacy MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Analytical skills
  • Report writing skills
  • Minute taking skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade others
