Data Quality and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality and Compliance Manager to join our team at North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust. This is a full-time role on a permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week, and is based at either Trust HQ at Ladybridge Hall, Bolton or Estuary Point, Speke.

Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing assurance of compliance with external standards, such as Ofsted and ESFA
- Developing and maintaining data tracking, audit, and control systems to monitor performance and compliance
- Designing, scheduling, and conducting thematic internal audits, analyzing findings, and taking corrective and preventative actions
- Managing and working with the Data and ILR Coordinators to ensure a robust system of learner enrolment and ongoing data management
- Maintaining evidence of eligible apprenticeship delivery costs and expenditure of apprenticeship monies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Educated to level 6 or equivalent knowledge and experience in the field of data management and compliance
- English and maths qualifications at level 2
- Experience of data analysis to produce reports
- Experience of dealing with key stakeholders on behalf of the organisation
- Experience of development of policies and guidelines
- Excellent inter-personal skills with ability to develop positive working relationships at all levels (internally/externally)
- The leadership qualities necessary to inspire others
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, reasoning, and decision-making
- Able to communicate complex and sensitive information to staff at all levels of the organisation and externally and in a confident and professional manner
- Demonstrable compassionate and inclusive leadership with a collaborative leadership style which enables others to shine
- Demonstrable IT skills to enable recording and reporting, specifically use of Excel
- Specialist knowledge of compliance to regulatory bodies and ESFA funding rules
- Knowledge and experience of ESFA contractual requirements and ESFA audits
