About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Nurse to join our Community Paediatric Team. The successful candidate will work alongside our multidisciplinary team to provide dedicated support for children and young people accessing assessments for ASD/ADHD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake assessment and contribute to MDT and feedback to Children and young people and their families
  • Manage children referred to the Community Paediatric Team with neurodevelopmental disorders concentrating on children referred with Social and Communication Difficulties within the Specialist ASD Assessment service
  • Help shape the redesign and development of services to meet the needs of the children

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration
  • V300 Independent Nurse Prescriber
  • Extensive experience at Specialist Practitioner Level or equivalent
  • Extensive post registration experience of working with children with Social and Communication Difficulties and ASD
  • Teaching and group facilitation experience
