About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Asset Management Engineer to join our team at Wolviston Management Services, an engineering and projects delivery business specialising in design, installation, project management and consultancy.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of engineering projects, ensuring all tasks align with safety and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope, cost, and delivery, ensuring alignment with safety and legal requirements
  • Coordinate with engineers, functional managers, and subcontractors
  • Act as primary technical liaison with customers
  • Ensure clear documentation and interpretation of client requirements
  • Oversee project specification and data sheet creation
  • Conduct regular design gap analysis
  • Prepare engineering design briefs and scope of work documents
  • Handle subcontract and major component procurement
  • Review design outputs for compliance with project requirements
  • Address engineering non-conformance or change requests
  • Participate in project reviews and present engineering elements
  • Ensure safety regulation adherence and conduct risk assessments
  • Manage documentation for CE/UKCA marking
Requirements:
  • Time served Apprenticeship or NVQ L3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of change management and process controls
  • Ability to interpret customer specifications and standards
  • Experience in an engineering environment with technical writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Salary and Benefits:
