We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Head of PR to join our Corporate Affairs team at Checkatrade, a leading brand in the UK home improvement industry.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover opportunity requiring up to 12 months from mid-Feb 2025. The successful candidate will lead the Public Relations strategy and execution, manage media and influencer relations, and act as the primary point of contact for press inquiries and media opportunities across digital and print.

About the Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have experience across proactive and reactive communication strategies and crisis communication scenarios, as well as experience of handling social media communities, including dealing with online crisis situations.

Key requirements include:

  • An estimated annual salary of £70,000 - £80,000 based on industry standards, including private medical.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth and development of Checkatrade.
