Job Title: Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our Accounting and Business Advisory (ABA) team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services to clients, working closely with other service lines such as Audit and Tax.
  • Manage the working capital of projects, including budgeting, cost management, billing, and debt recoverability.
  • Act as a senior team member and leader, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain advanced technical knowledge through reading, courses, and CPD requirements.
  • Oversee and review work completed by managers, supervisors, and assistants, ensuring compliance with firm policy and procedures.
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience at a manager level.
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting skillset, with specialisms in areas such as IFRS, complex UK GAAP reporting, and sector specialism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Adaptable and collaborative team player, with advanced coaching and development skills.
  • Ability to contribute to business development and growth.
