We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our Accounting and Business Advisory (ABA) team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality accounting and financial reporting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services on a portfolio of clients, working closely with other service lines such as Audit and Tax.
  • Manage the working capital of projects, including budgeting, cost management, billing, and debt recoverability.
  • Act as a senior team-member and leader, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Oversee and review work completed by managers, supervisors, and assistants, ensuring that firm policy and procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience at a manager level.
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting skillset, with a specialism in one or more of the following areas: IFRS, complex UK GAAP reporting, sector specialism.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Adaptable and collaborative team player, with advanced coaching and development skills.
  • Ability to make a positive contribution through business development.
