About the Role

In this rewarding SEN Support Specialist - Autism Education position, you will work closely with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional learning needs. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to enable these students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a seamless support system.
  • Assist in creating and implementing individualized education plans, incorporating insights from behavioral analysis and psychological theories.
  • Collaborate with special educators, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to address diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity and respect, promoting social-emotional learning and self-advocacy among students.
  • Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize academic and personal growth.

Your Qualifications:

  • Psychology graduate or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
