Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Specialist Support to join our team in Greater Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of professionals providing specialist assessment and intervention services for autistic people and individuals with learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in management and leadership, with experience in working with individuals with complex needs and risks. You will be responsible for ensuring that our services are delivered to the highest standards, while also contributing to the development and implementation of operational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and leadership of the Specialist Support Team
  • Effective collaboration with partner agencies providing integrated services
  • Contribution to the development and implementation of operational policies
Requirements
  • Registration with an appropriate professional body
  • 1st Level Nurse Registration in Learning Disability/Mental Health or equivalent qualification
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Appropriate further professional qualifications/training in assessment/therapeutic/intervention approaches
  • Training in formal risk assessment and positive behavioural supports
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including access to training and development programs, a comprehensive wellbeing strategy, and a contributory pension scheme.
