We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our Children's Directorate. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our paediatric services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and direction to our paediatric services, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety, quality, and experience.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and clinicians to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Lead and manage a team of clinicians and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective service delivery.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial management.
- Represent the Trust at a local and national level, promoting our paediatric services and building partnerships with other healthcare organizations.
- Medical Consultant or Senior Clinician with significant experience in paediatric services.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, such as healthcare management or leadership.
- Strong understanding of key performance targets and drivers for change in the NHS.
- Highly developed emotional intelligence, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and motivate others, with a track record of working effectively within and through teams.
