We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Children's Emergency Department team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert emergency care to children and their families, supporting senior staff, and participating in the management of the team.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing expert emergency care to children and their families in our busy Children's Emergency Departments
- Supporting senior staff and participating in the management of the team
- Acting as nurse in charge of the department when on shift
- Supporting junior staff and participating in the development of the team

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Registered Nurse Child/RSCN qualification
- Level 3 Resus trained Pediatrics immediate life support (PILS)
- Experience working in an Acute Children's Hospital Setting
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience working in a children's Emergency Department, Practice Assessor/Supervisor Training, and EPALS/APLS provider qualifications are desirable but not essential.
