We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management team at ICM Group. Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution of capital projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are met.
- Manage a team of project engineers and site superintendents, providing guidance and directives to ensure successful project completion.
- Provide technical and project management oversight to design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and close-out of projects.
- Ensure timely resolution of project issues and implement safety measures to prevent accidents.
- Implement company initiatives and business processes, achieving Key Performance Indices (KPIs) for projects.
- Prepare and review monthly project performance reports, presenting them to higher management.
- Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, timing, or costs.
- Negotiate agreements and change orders with design and execution contractors.
- Guide and direct team members in the application of client standards.
- Assure that variances from standards are minimized.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (4 years) and a PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification. A minimum of 15 years' experience in project management, with 7 years as a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager in design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and operation of projects with values ranging from $500MM to $billion.
The candidate will have a mastery understanding of engineering practices, economic principles, international codes, standards, and specifications. They will also have experience with project execution plans, interface management, change management, construction sequencing, standards specifications, and project scheduling.
A dynamic attitude towards project improvements and savings is essential, as well as flexibility to work in multinational teams and mobilize to different locations, including remote areas as needed.
