The Capital Markets Company GmbH is seeking a seasoned Global Data Protection Expert to spearhead our global data protection strategy and implementation, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations. This role involves collaborating closely with various departments to safeguard the personal data of clients, employees, and third parties.

As a key member of our team, you will report directly to our Global Data Protection Officer and provide subject matter expertise to guide the business in adhering to relevant data protection laws at all times. Your responsibilities will include coordinating a business-wide review of Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), educating all legal entities on maintaining up-to-date documentation that accurately reflects the personal data they process, as required by law.

In addition, you will support group stakeholders in conducting Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) and other relevant data protection risk assessments, including when personal data is utilized in GenAI applications. You will also investigate data breaches, advise on breach resolution, and support the Global Data Protection Officer in accordance with established organizational data breach processes.
