Risk Management Director

Mastercard is seeking a seasoned Risk Management Director to lead the development and implementation of the company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the ERM program, including policies, standards, risk identification, and reporting activities.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ERM or a related field within the banking or financial services industry. They will possess a strong understanding of risk management principles, practices, and methodologies, including risk assessment techniques, risk modeling, and scenario analysis.
The Risk Management Director will work closely with Senior Management and the Board to define and convey the entity's risk appetite and tolerance. They will lead initiatives to identify and evaluate strategic, operational, legal, regulatory, and financial risks, and develop risk reports and dashboards for Senior Management and the Board.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risks and develop pragmatic solutions to mitigate them. They will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain the ERM program, including policies, standards, risk identification, and reporting activities
- Work with Senior Management and the Board to define and convey the entity's risk appetite and tolerance
- Lead initiatives to identify and evaluate strategic, operational, legal, regulatory, and financial risks

Requirements:
- Extensive experience in ERM or a related field within the banking or financial services industry
