Risk Management Director

Voyage Care is seeking a highly experienced Director of Risk and Assurance to lead the development and delivery of the Group's risk management and assurance framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a robust Risk Management framework and Internal Audit plan to support the Group's purpose of delivering great care and commercial success.
The Director of Risk and Assurance will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, including the Board, Audit Committee, Executive Team, and Senior Leadership Team, to develop and deliver the Group's risk and assurance framework and internal audit approach. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and continuing to develop the Group risk framework, risk management, and reporting process.
- Obtaining approval for improvements to the risk framework from the Audit Committee and Board.
- Reporting to Senior Management and the Board on risk and risk management in the Group.
- Developing and delivering a risk-based audit plan, with an initial emphasis on financial controls.
- Defining and agreeing the Group's long-term approach to Risk and Internal Audit.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully operating as a Risk and Audit Director working with Senior Management and the Board in a complex organisation. They will also have evidence of successfully developing and implementing Risk Management and Internal Audit Frameworks.
