The Headteacher of a reputable Primary School is seeking a committed and hardworking Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team. This role will provide general class support in Reception class, working alongside excellent teachers and support staff. The successful candidate will have high expectations of children in Reception to ensure they have the best start to their experience within the EYFS department.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in working alongside young children and a good understanding of English and Maths. They will also be working alongside children with educational needs, including emotional, social and mental health needs, and an interest in supporting second language learners. A caring, flexible and common-sense approach is essential for this role.

The successful applicant will hold a Level 3 childcare related qualification or equivalent. This is a full-time role, starting at 8:45-15:25 Monday to Friday, term time only. The rates of pay are competitive for work of this nature, starting at £13.50 per hour.
