English Teacher Role for Mixed SEN School

A passionate English Teacher is sought to join a mixed School for Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Hampshire, where pupils and staff can grow. This supportive school prioritises making a positive difference to the lives of their pupils through holistic growth.
This full-time permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver the English curriculum while instilling confidence among pupils from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will enjoy creating a stimulating environment that engages pupils in English, working with them to develop their skills and overcome barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering the English curriculum to pupils from KS2 to KS4
• Creating a stimulating environment that engages pupils in English
• Developing pupils' skills and overcoming barriers to learning
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Right to work in the UK
• DBS on the update service, or willing to apply
• Degree in English (or related subject)
• Solid background in teaching English
• SEN experience ideal but not essential
• Strong classroom and behavioural management skills
• Full driving licence
