Job Title: Senior Data Management Analyst

As a Senior Data Management Analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Management Limited, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's data management practices. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement data management frameworks, processes, and standards that ensure the quality, governance, and compliance of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data management frameworks, processes, and standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement data quality technology, including data connectors, pipelines, integration, and infrastructure.
  • Partner with key project initiatives and act as an escalation point to drive solutions.
  • Develop data management capabilities and data quality insights, with potential to lead initiatives.
  • Conduct data quality audits, identify issues, monitor trends, and establish KPIs.
  • Embed and manage triage, prioritization, and workflow processes for data quality issues.
  • Engage with data owners and project teams on data quality, recommend solutions, and drive root cause analysis, remediation, and escalations.
  • Define data risk management controls in line with Group Data Policy and the Risk Management Systems.
Requirements:
  • Commercially focused with a value enablement approach to data quality management.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills and ability to deliver results.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data management technology.
  • Advanced SQL or similar skills to support data analysis and data quality rule creation.
  • Experience in data profiling/discovery and developing data quality reports/dashboards.
  • Good understanding of databases, data models, ETL processes, data pipelines, APIs, and connectors.
  • Good understanding of DAMA and DCAM frameworks for industry best practice on Data Management.
