Job Title: Senior Data Management Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Management Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data management frameworks, processes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data management strategies to improve data quality, governance, and compliance.
  • Design and maintain data quality dashboards and reporting to monitor trends and identify issues.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to determine the impact of new data standards and develop data quality rules.
  • Conduct data quality audits and identify areas for improvement.
  • Embed and manage triage, prioritization, and workflow processes for data quality issues.
  • Engage with data owners and project teams to recommend solutions and drive root cause analysis, remediation, and escalations.
  • Provide best practice, training, advice, and guidance to business and technology colleagues.
  • Coach and mentor data management analysts.

Requirements:

  • Advanced SQL or similar skills to support data analysis and data quality rule creation.
  • Experience in data profiling/discovery and developing data quality reports/dashboards (ideally in Power BI).
  • Good understanding of databases, data models, ETL processes, data pipelines, APIs, and connectors.
  • Good understanding of DAMA and DCAM frameworks for industry best practice on data management.
