Lear: Driving Excellence in Facilities Management
We're dedicated to creating an environment where our teams can thrive. As a key member of our facilities team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our sites operate efficiently and effectively.
About the Role:
As a Facilities Team Lead, you'll be responsible for managing the Facilities Team, overseeing facility improvements and repairs, coordinating with external contractors, and monitoring facility service contracts. You'll also be responsible for planning and implementing facility improvements aligned with Lear's Energy Efficiency Playbook, developing and managing a preventative program, and submitting PAR & CAPEX costs for facility projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Facilities Team to ensure seamless site operations
- Oversee facility improvements and repairs, ensuring compliance with corporate safety directives and facility policies
- Coordinate with external contractors, ensuring adherence to contractor control procedures
- Monitor and manage facility service contracts, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Plan and implement facility improvements aligned with Lear's Energy Efficiency Playbook
- Develop and manage a preventative program, reducing downtime and increasing efficiency
- Submit PAR & CAPEX costs for facility projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting
- Monitor and manage energy usage, reducing waste and promoting sustainability
- Ensure facility compliance with Lear's directives, site procedures, and statutory inspections
- Lead quarterly Kaizen/improvement projects, driving continuous improvement
- Respond to quality/facility investigations, ensuring swift resolution and root cause analysis

- Advanced Level 3 safety certification (IOSH Managing Safety)
