Jark - Worcester is a specialist engineering company based in the Redditch area, and they are looking for someone with experience in Automated Painting Facilities to lead their powder coating line.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to support the Production Manager in supervising the production team. They will also be responsible for ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to at all times and monitoring stock and raw materials as required.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the Production Manager in day-to-day supervision of the production team
  • Ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
  • Supervising the production process as it moves through different stages
  • Monitoring stock and raw materials as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A counterbalance FLT licence
  • Ideally, working knowledge of metal finishing processes
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Ideally, a first aid certificate
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around £45,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 0600-1500 and Friday from 0600-1500. There will also be opportunities for overtime during the week.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated painting facilities and be able to lead a team effectively. They will also be able to work independently and make decisions quickly.
