About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at Greencore. As an AP Clerk, you will play a crucial role in processing invoices and payments, providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure effective and accurate financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Process day-to-day financial transactions within an agreed control process to enable accurate creation of financial information.
  • Payment and Receipt Processing: Process, allocate, and monitor payments and receipts ensuring assets and liabilities are appropriately stated in a timely manner.
  • Document Management: Code, log, or match source documents in a timely manner to enable efficient processing within the financial systems.
  • Customer Service: Communicate and resolve general enquiries via email or phone, escalating where appropriate, to deliver great customer service.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile transaction data to external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Performance Metrics: Capture transactional deficiencies and reason codes to produce key performance indicator information.
Requirements
  • Numerate Skills: Numerate with a high level of data input skills.
  • Communication Skills: Impeccable communication skills and good attention to detail.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literate with a good understanding of Excel and experience of finance systems.
  • Workload Management: Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • High Volume Processing: Experience of processing high volumes of work.
