As a Camp Beaumont Deputy Camp Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for children. You will be at the heart of our operations, guiding and supporting our team to deliver exceptional day camp programs and ensuring the well-being of all our young camp members.

About the Role:

This is a leadership position that requires the ability to communicate effectively, work closely with the management team, and contribute to the overall success of our camps. You will be responsible for providing essential support to the Camp Manager, ensuring staff members are fully equipped to deliver exceptional and fun experiences for the children.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high level of safeguarding awareness, have initiative and the ability to work independently, and be passionate about working with children. A level 3 childcare qualification or PGCE is desirable, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Camp Manager in running a multi-activity day camp for 3 to 14-year-olds during summer and school holiday weekdays.
  • Provide essential support to the Camp Manager, ensuring staff members are fully equipped to deliver exceptional and fun experiences for the children.
  • Work closely with the management team to contribute to the overall success of our camps.

Requirements:

  • Over 18 years old.
  • Available to work during the school holidays.
  • A UK/EU citizen with 2 x right to work ID's.
  • Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team.
  • High level of safeguarding awareness.
  • Paediatric first aid is desirable.
  • A level 3 childcare qualification / PGCE is desirable.
