Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDM Coordinator to join our team at Marston Holdings. As a CDM Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients and employees on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor in fulfilling their duties under the Construction Design and Management (CDM) 2015 regulations.
  • Collaborate with design teams to identify, eliminate, or control significant and foreseeable risks related to construction and future maintenance of structures.
  • Work with clients and other stakeholders to gather pre-construction information, assess its adequacy, and provide advice on how to fill gaps.
  • Support multiple projects for key clients, particularly in highways, structures, landscape, and urban design.
  • Attend design meetings and client meetings to provide health and safety advice and support.
  • Provide clear, concise, and practical health and safety guidance and coaching to project teams throughout all stages of the project.
  • Assist in compiling and developing training materials and other management tools.
  • Support the preparation of fee proposals with project managers and discipline leads.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH or other recognized health and safety qualification.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in health and safety within construction and civil engineering.
  • Good understanding of health and safety, including CDM responsibilities.
  • Experience or knowledge of highways, landscape, flood, and water management, and urban design structures would be ideal.
  • In-depth understanding of the Construction, Design and Management Regulations 2015.
